Pastoral Care

Pastoral Care is defined as offering care and compassion, entering into the lives of suffering people and helping them to discover, by way of the cross, victory for their broken lives (Pastoral Care, Under the Cross, by Richard C. Eyer). This is brought about first and foremost through the healing provided by God’s grace through Jesus, who has died and risen, to give life in the midst of death, whatever that death or struggle that may be occurring in the person’s life. At Trinity the pastor has been called to share this promise to the one(s) in need, then, as needed, as directed and as administered, through other called and trained members of our staff, always under the Pastor’s supervision, including our Commissioned Deacons and trained Stephen Ministers.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” Matthew 28:19-20
